Fridge causes spikes that harm equipment30 Sep 2007 03:03 GMT24
We've got a fairly new fridge, maybe a year old, and we've
discovered that it's causing power spikes especially when
it clicks on. Sometimes these spikes continue for some time.
These spikes hit any equipment that's in the kitchen and using

It appears that both of our bathrooms are on the same GFCI plug.
Somehow it tripped, I didn't see anything trip it, so Im not sure what
did it.  Anyway, now it wont reset.  The breaker did not flip, even
though I have turned it off and back on several times.  Nothing is

In an NFPA protective clothing class I'm attending, there was a
question about what type FR clothing should be worn when working on a
125VAC energized control circuit.  From the job hazard analysis
matrices we were handed out, the only mention of "control circuits"

I have 3 power jacks connected to a shared bus via a PCB. Each jack
provides 19volts/9.5 amps. On it I have a microprocessor I have
programmed. What I would like to do is have the micro sense which jack
has been plugged in.
