PSCAD Trouble30 Jul 2007 18:24 GMT1
Can somebody please help me solve this problem in PSCAD.
I can compile a project no problem, but if I try to build the project
I am told that:
"D:\Program Files\EGCS\bin\make : *** [Main.o] Error 2"

surface light on oven29 Jul 2007 20:31 GMT3
About two weeks ago my surface LED light on my oven stays on all the time.
No effect when I cook...light just won't go off when I turn off any of the
top surface elements.   Is this a short circuit, or something else going on?
Any info appreciated.
The structure of RAM in a RF anechoic chamber29 Jul 2007 14:50 GMT2
Hi, I am wondering why is radiation absorbtion material (RAM) has a
pyramid structure in a RF anechoic chamber? Why not cube or some other
pattern?

I can't wait that long to charge the batteries!29 Jul 2007 12:10 GMT8
Some domestic appliances come with rechargeable cells that need charging
for many hours before their first use.
For example, I have a Panasonic DECT phone with two AAA NiMH cells which
needs charging for 7 hours.
Power measurement29 Jul 2007 10:01 GMT26
I am going to a customer site to measure machine power, while it is in an
idle state. It has a 3 phase & neutral supply(50Hz).
My plan is to use a clamp meter to measure current,
is it simply a case of P=IV for power or is there a need to multiply by

Widget for joining 3-core mains flex29 Jul 2007 07:39 GMT44
I am in the UK.  I want to ask for info about joining 3-core mains
flex on an appliance that may  have to carry up to 3,000 Watts.
I usually extend the mains flex by soldering but the finished join is
too bulky when winding the flex or pulling it around a corner.
Calculus and a capacitor question29 Jul 2007 05:52 GMT1
This is about the equation: C = I* dT/dE.
I've taken Calculus and currently taking Diff EQ. At the moment I
understand about applying Diff EQ techniques to turn that equation into a
solution for all values of t (time). What does the equation mean in the
Melting fuses27 Jul 2007 22:19 GMT5
I have a brand new (Chinese) electric bicycle that melts (rather than
blows) the 30 amp spade fuse every time I use it.  Voltage is 36v and
the motor is 180 watts.  A 40amp fuse is available by special order
but I am reluctant to use one without specialist advice.
Replacing 2-Prong Receptacles27 Jul 2007 20:33 GMT15
I hope this isn't too dumb...
I am replacing some old 2 prong receptacles with new 3 prong ones.
Still only the old two conductors-hot and neutral- in the box.  At
least I don't have to run all over the house searching for an adaptor

the name of  a web page or any place where I could find some
information? Thanks a lot.

confused about opamp circuit from practical electronics for inventors27 Jul 2007 11:02 GMT7
hello, OK, I've been breaking my head over this one for a while and
just can't figure it out.  It's an example from a book called
"Practical Electronics For Inventors"  It's basically a "Simple
Triangle-wave/Square-wave Generator"  It has a integrator opamp
relay bias currents27 Jul 2007 03:51 GMT1
Why would a relay have bias currents such as this:
http://www.teledynerelays.com/pdf/military/ca.pdf.  Does it have something
to do with operating it in open-collector mode?
Thanks,

approach to use LCR bridge
Please give suggestions
Thanks
