| Non Switching 220v Power Supply, Used with 110v, how much does current decrease? | 31 Dec 2005 15:15 GMT | 2 |
I was sent a power supply for a unit that requires 9 volts DC with 180ma. The power supply says input 220v AC, not 110-220v, so I guess that means non switching, and is supposed to supply 300ma of current. . I

| Commercial mains wiring: 12ga wire for 30 amp load? | 28 Dec 2005 14:41 GMT | 33 |
NEC reference says that 12ga THHN wire can carry 30A max current. Motor load is currently drawing constant 20A (230v 1ph circuit). Breaker is 30A. (A bit of history: Previous motor (running from 208v) was

I wonder how accurately my meter (rotating disk type) reads loads that are half wave due to a diode. I have some heating equipment that derives its low mode by incorporating a diode. Thanks, John
