I have a metal detector which is beeping for no reason when people pass
it by with the talkie-walkies. The talkie-walkies use UHF radio waves,
and so I know that I have to somehow block the radio waves. I have
tried chicken wire grids as small as 1cm by 1cm meshes, making a

I am a little new to radio waves and such so I am hoping I won't get
flamed. I am just wondering if anyone can point me to some documents or
something about EMI from RFID. I am concidering putting RFID tags in
all my computers and obviousy dont want to cause undesireable problems.

Thanks all for the excellent information.  I have been out a few days and

i have this difficult question that i cannot solve:
how is measured the elctric field for the radiated emissions (Re102)?
is it the root mean quare or the peak value? and supposing that the

I have a normal domestic supply to a house in the UK.  I have seen a
printing press that needs 415v.  I assume my house is fed with 240v,
and not transformed within the house down from something else.
Question: if I need to supply 415v to this press, how would I do it?
