Connection methods for existing aluminum wiring28 Feb 2005 21:02 GMT1
I have read prior thread (1996) in this forum, explaining theoretical
problems with the bond between aluminum wire and, say, terminals provided on
duplex receptacles.  Aluminum has interesting, accelerative failure mode
when too much current is applied.
Switched power supply27 Feb 2005 15:00 GMT2
I'm looking for diagrams or schematics of switched power supplies with
(preferably ) 50V AC input to 24V DC output. Does anyone know where to find

Transformer question23 Feb 2005 20:56 GMT9
Having trouble with house telephone - the handset batteries constantly run
down...suspect the small powerpack transformer attached to the phone base

Its a little transformer to convert 240v AC to 9.5v ...
Megger/Wheatstone Bridge to a good home?22 Feb 2005 21:33 GMT102
I've been given a Megger (500V Hand Generator), it's not
actually a Wheatstone bridge, but it does do the Varley
Bridge measurement.
Resistance measurement from MegOhms to MilliOhms!
