DTV antennas?31 Jul 2008 23:20 GMT253
Ok, guys, as predicted it's the pits. Digital TV cutting in and out at
random because of multipath and other disturbances. Analog never does
that, it simply performs better. But it's almost gone :-(
Besides the fact that newer antennas should have their UHF section tuned
Carbon pills for keypad31 Jul 2008 21:56 GMT18
I am trying to make a rubber keypad for one of my projects. I have
tried mixing graphite with the rubber to make conductive buttons but
with little success. I have also spent a lot of time looking on the
net for a source for the "carbon pills" the pros use. I am here asking
Difference in performance between various temperature coefficient     ceramic caps?31 Jul 2008 18:46 GMT3
Hey there - I was just thinking about TC (Temperature Coefficients) of
ceramic capacitors. So the temperature coefficient (ie X7R, NP0, etc.)
specifies the low temp, high temp, and max capacitance change. In
general, does it affect things like ESR or anything else? For example,

is it easier to negatively charge something than to positively charge it?31 Jul 2008 10:42 GMT7
imagine a balloon floating in the air, and you give it a negative
charge. This pumps more electrons into it (or onto its surafce).
Giving it a positive charge (in relation to its suroundings) is done
by removing existing negative electrons. Once all the electrons are

Whats different between these two circuits?31 Jul 2008 04:48 GMT4
Ringing choke circuit and blocking oscillator are different names of
oscillator.
Are they same meaning or they are different circuit in practice?
How to distinctly identify  them?

little help here. I need 2 design a circuit to play a prerecorded
music continuously, the length of the recording is only 30sec. I tried
