magnetic sensor to PC interface09 Mar 2007 23:09 GMT9
Hi All - I found this newsgroup and was wondering if anyone could help
me.
I'd like to connect a magnetic sensor (bicycle computer) directly to
my computer through one of the ports without a power supply.
CPLD Configuration09 Mar 2007 21:37 GMT4
I have a number of IO pins on a XC9572XL that will not be used in my
design and I intend to tie them to ground.
There are a number of documents on the Xilinx web site that refer to
the User Programmable Ground (UPG) setting that these pins should be
Optical rev counter09 Mar 2007 20:58 GMT11
I been given an electronic project to make an optical rev counter
for a RC airplane.  If anyone has any experience with makeing one i'd
really appreciate any help or links to information or schematics.
I really can't seem to find any information about this on the net.

Poor performance with extended aerial09 Mar 2007 17:58 GMT5
I have an 868MHz design incorporating a reference design for the
transceiver.  The aerial is connected to a PCB mounted SMA connector.
The board sits in a metal box and the aerial passes partly through the
box to attach to the board.

LDO DC/DC Converter09 Mar 2007 17:12 GMT4
Need a little help here. I am looking for a LDO DC/DC Converter. I
have 7.5V input, looking for 5V output. Total current output needs to
be upwards of 1A. Power consumption is critical and must be as low as
possible since the 7.5V is from batteries. For this reason I have had

Cancelled Checks at my bank09 Mar 2007 15:52 GMT10
Well, KiethTard, I just got a nice color printed notice from my bank
that they will no longer be STORING my canceled checks.
So, as usual, your presumptuous, retarded a.s was wrong in stating
that it was already that way.

Receiving low frequency square wave fm question09 Mar 2007 14:41 GMT5
I am looking at circuit design to use for model railway DCC design,
specifically how to design a circuit to receive and decode it.
The data is transmitted serially as FM data at approx 9600bps on a
differential (RS485 I think) line where a 1 bit is a positive and
Pulse emitter long range data comm?09 Mar 2007 13:50 GMT2
It seems that Zeners could be used to just clip the steepest part of a
sine wave and port that power to a Yagi tuned to resonate with the
effective frequency.
Which is to say, put out a series of pulses, either pos or neg, zero
GPIB 'Multidevice' API timeout09 Mar 2007 12:43 GMT4
I'm using the GPIB 'multidevice' API for a project, but I find that
the default command timeout is much too long to wait. Typically, using
the 'traditional' API, I would set the timeout using the ibdev()
command when I first initialize the GPIB device.  But, since I'm using
