Fet for HF design11 Jul 2008 10:42 GMT4
I'm looking for a mosfet better than 2SK544 which has high gain (27 dB at 100 Mhz),
low noise (NF 1.5 dB at 100 Mhz) and small transfer capacitance (0.035 pF).
Any idea ?
or a site where I could search for it on the basis of these topics ?
SSC PLCEFN datasheet10 Jul 2008 16:35 GMT3
Could somebody help me with datasheet for old Intellon power line
communication IC   SSC PLCEFN?
Thanks in advance

Question: capacitors as special use batteries?09 Jul 2008 23:53 GMT3
I recall from my hobbyist days that high-voltage capacitors can keep a
charge for a significant amount of time, especially if they are cut-
off from the circuit subsequent to charging.
I'd like to know whether it might be feasible, from a technical and
Seek IC model06 Jul 2008 08:38 GMT1
Do you want to know some IC products? It can make many of our commonly
used electrical appliances, such as switches, it has many models,eg

How to probe the parameters of a mechanical encoder05 Jul 2008 22:30 GMT1
The mechanical encoder on my Wavetek 75 is broken (mechanically) but it's
too hard for me to solder anything to the tiny remains in the broken pins.
In this case, I need to buy a new encoder.
Is there a way to probe the parameters such as Pulse Per Revolution, coding
BC MMB0207 0.1% resistors05 Jul 2008 16:20 GMT2
Does anybody have experience with BC MMB0207 0.1% resistors ?
Rapid sell those for a fraction of the price of other 0.1%
resistors and I'm wondering what the catch might be.

single component signal detector05 Jul 2008 01:55 GMT2
Given a rotor with 6 magnets of alternating polarity, I need to count
the steps as the rotor turns.  I've got a coil next to the rotor as a
sensor.  The question is how to turn the coil signal (current) into a
pulse train that an MCU can count.

ultra-bright IR LEDs03 Jul 2008 20:48 GMT8
Anyone have a source for really bright IR (~900-950 nm wavelength) LEDs?
I'm trying to build a night camera.  I've got the camera modified to see
in that wavelength but the 16 normal (20 ma) LEDs just don't provide
enough light.  I could just build a whole sh*tload of 20 ma LED ...

Hall Sensor03 Jul 2008 02:30 GMT2
Is there a hall sensor sensitive enough to detect the earth's magnetic
field.  If so please can someone identify it for me.
Bi-color red/green LEDs02 Jul 2008 04:08 GMT1
Is it just me, or do most red/green bi-color LEDs seem to have the "red" set
at a wavelength that's really more of an orange than a nice, deep, saturated
red?
I do the usual trick of mixing the two in various ratios, and it's often
