Why no H11F1 OptoFET?27 Jul 2007 10:57 GMT43
The H11F1 is (was) multisourced, Fairchild, Isocom, and possibly others.
I bought 20 from Digikey only a few weeks ago. Now they have none in stock,
and a recent poster here says he got a mail from Digikey announcing that
Fairchild will stop making them (not that they ever did, ...
Klixons & Fans27 Jul 2007 06:50 GMT2
So I have two 50pint/day dehumidifiers. Both failed in the same
way. The cooling fan seized, the exaporator iced over & the compressor
stalled. The Klixon overload soon comitted suicide.
I'm looking for surplus stores with Klixon overloads. I find one size at

Does anyone know where you can order a plastic 9v battery holder with
a snap off cover that flush mounts in a project box, guitar body, etc?
It would be like the AA battery holder in this Synsonics Terminator

320 x 80 LCD25 Jul 2007 20:33 GMT3
I have a device with what appears to be a defective LCD. There's a
splotch that's visible even if the unit is powered off. When it's
powered on, there's a horizontal line and a vertical line that both
appear faint and occasionally show stray junk. I'm assuming
Piezoelectric transducer25 Jul 2007 19:27 GMT1
I am a student of ME. I am doing my final year project on
piezoelectric in shoes. Piezoelectric is located in shoes, while
walking, piezoelectric compressed and it generates an electric signal.
this electric signal is stored in capacitor in other words, this

Does anyone know where to find a SN76488N IC? This is a 28-pin sound
effects generator chip used in some circuits in the book "33
Electronic Music Projects You Can Build" (Winston, Lawrence E., Tab
Books, 1981, ISBN 0-8306-1373-0) on p. 144-154.
