Oh yeah the URL of the free search widget - www.supplyframe.com/gopart27 Feb 2007 23:03 GMT1
Check it out.  http://www.supplyframe.com/gopart
Saw it on EETimes.
OC50/51 point contact germanium transistors27 Feb 2007 22:24 GMT6
Does anyone have very old (1950s) transistors (or know of a
collection/semiconductor museum with any)?
I am interested in photos of them and, if possible, simple tests to be
carried out on these grey-haired old timers.  I'm also interested in
buttons for PCB mount Tactile switches27 Feb 2007 13:25 GMT1
All of the nicele manufactured designs I've see put the small square snap
action tactile buttons (little silver ones with the black rubber button) on
the PCB and the button part you push is just a plastic mechanism with a rod
behind it to push in the black rubber piece when the ...
UK Source for IF transformers27 Feb 2007 09:19 GMT3
I'm finding it very hard to get hold of a replacement IF transformer, like
those found in old AM radios.  I'm not too up on the jargon, but its a
silver cased IF transformer with an built in capacitor and an adjustable
ferrite slug inside (white/yellow colour coding).  I remember ...
Today, I had the misfortune27 Feb 2007 03:42 GMT70
to visit the NXP (nee Philips) website. I am replacing a legacy part and
needed the original datasheet for comparison purposes. It's not a
website, it's marketdroid mental masturbation.
We've had these rants before, of course, but I'm getting to the point of
95 VAC to 120 VAC Treshold Detector26 Feb 2007 16:15 GMT21
I want to trigger a relay so that when the input voltage is at 95 VAC (134 V
peak), the relay is off.  When the input voltage is at a full 120 VAC (170 V
peak), or it goes beyond the 95 VAC threshold, then the relay is energized.
This circuit needs to be discrete enough to where I ...
Panel-mount analog clock25 Feb 2007 18:47 GMT6
I am looking for a panel-mount analog clock, either 120VAC or battery
powered.
Size I'm looking for is about the same as a 4.5" panel meter but I'm
not picky.

BC414, 41623 Feb 2007 18:56 GMT1
I see some use of BC414 and BC416 transistors in low noise circuits;
none of my regular suppliers have any, and I wonder whether anyone has
tried them and can recommend making the effort to get them from
somewhere (instead of using something like a BC550C as a substitute).
identification of component used in auto trans ecu ....23 Feb 2007 05:37 GMT2
hi , i have a auto transmission ecu  , and i am trying  to id some
components , they are  bolted to a heatsink  and have :
a       T   on it , and   8c  written in tiny letters , then under that it
has      8055P
History of bulk electronic components suppliers22 Feb 2007 00:11 GMT121
purely out of curiosity, is there anyone who can tell me what happened
to popular electronics mail-order companies of the 1970s like Poly Paks
in the US and BiPak & BiPrePak in the UK? There must have been a trend
that killed them off, and caused other medium sized names to ...
4P2T switch -what's available21 Feb 2007 18:37 GMT11
I need a 4 pole double throw switch, but all I can find are toggle
switches like this:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=1&ModuleNo=2343&doy=10m2
What other types of switches of this type (4P2T) are available, and
LM393 driving small MOSFET21 Feb 2007 17:38 GMT10
My problem is "how fast can an LM393 drive the gate of a small MOSFET"? At
the moment the exact type of MOSFET isn't finalised, and even if it was I've
yet to see a datasheet give a straight answer on the actual value of gate
capacitance, if I knew that I could calculate the ...
L55520 Feb 2007 15:03 GMT2
does anybody know what is the function of this IC : L555 ? (8DIP)
At the moment I think it could be:
1) a NE555 clone timer
2) a PLL (Phase Locked Loop)
OM175 Wideband RF Amplifier19 Feb 2007 06:16 GMT2
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the specifications for a Philips
OM175 wideband RF amplifier IC?
