This may seem like a stupid question, but I've been wondering this for quite
a while now, and I hope someone here can help me answer this:
When you go looking on the web for a source to purchase some part, and you
can't find it in any of the usual vendor's catalogues (i.e. Digikey, ...
OLED Displays - fully digital or still analoge30 Jan 2007 17:25 GMT1
I Have a qustion to those familiar with 1-2" OLED displays.
I find both displays with analoge RGB interface and some with digital
RGB interface and my question is therefore:
-is the technique/coding used for drawing up the image (colours) on
LP324PW (TSSOP) in stock anywhere?30 Jan 2007 13:32 GMT7
The usual: Just about to finish a design. When I started a week ago the
LP324PW in TSSOP was in stock, now it's gone. Bone dry out there.
Minimum leadtime now four weeks. Drat. Does anyone know where to get
some? For prototyping we only need a few.
Who has TO-5 10-pin sockets (TO-100)?30 Jan 2007 13:22 GMT19
A client of mine needs TO-5 10-pin sockets, often called TO-100. For
example Keystone Cat.No. 4594. They are commonly used for small VCSEL
lasers with integrated thermo-electric coolers. But not much for ICs
anymore and that seems to be the problem.
Digikey brought back old search function30 Jan 2007 01:50 GMT3
Says on their site: "Back by popular demand - Classic Search". Hmm,
interesting. Seems there is finally a company that did listen or was
willing to admit that they blew something.
The "In Stock" check box is still a bit iffy in that it occasionally
Pin  # convention on SC75 (if there is one...)?29 Jan 2007 05:37 GMT34
Folks, what's the most prevalent pinout convention on SC-75 packages?
The Rohm 2SK3019 is one of them that I'll use and it's:

Can you tell if a capacitor leaked by dissecting, and looking at the brown paper?27 Jan 2007 03:04 GMT4
Originally posted in Sci.Electronics.Repair, but everyone wants to
dance around my question. Does anyone here have the answer?

what customized transformer in high demand?27 Jan 2007 02:36 GMT4

NEC 42505C-5026 Jan 2007 17:13 GMT1
I have an IC:
NEC 42505C-50
Unfortunately I didn't find any datasheet on the net.
Does anybody know its function
Is there an official SMT size site?25 Jan 2007 20:15 GMT12
It's bewildering. Was looking for diodes in SC-75, barely anything. Then
by chance I found the beloved old BAS, BAV and BAT diodes again.
Slightly different numbers but they were listed under SOT-523 which
looks the same to me as SC-75, or SOT-416 for that matter.
Exploded NiCd Batteries24 Jan 2007 19:18 GMT4
While attempting a home-charge of a set of NiCd batteries, they were
left unattended and consequently exploded (relatively high current was
flowing through them). The basement area in which the explosion took
place is currently being ventilated overnight.

for components.
I've done some looking around the web and came across Jameco,
Tycoelectronics, and Digi-Key.
