I hope you will be kind enough to help me, I face the following problem:

Excessive impedance on low current zeners?27 Sep 2006 17:58 GMT4
It's the old zener issue but I started a new thread because it's not
about sources anymore. Rather, I found that quite a few data sheets
specify a really high impedance at the rated zener current. For example,
these low current zeners are spec'd at 250uA yet the data sheet says
Where to buy "high density" 0.70" DIL sockets26 Sep 2006 20:30 GMT12
A couple of months ago I asked about a special "high density" 1.78mm
(0.70") lead spacing IC socket for a non-standard IC and was told here
that I could get them from Digikey. Here's the catalog page:

WTB: obsolete MC2023 & MC2051  TTL   ICs24 Sep 2006 22:54 GMT2
Looking for the above ICs (or ideas for a source) made by motorola in
the 70's. I don't know much about them except they are TTL chips. Need
only a few (maybe 5 for a few extra if not too expensive) of each- not a
large qty. thanks for any ideas...
Erasing OTP's and EPROMS by heat?24 Sep 2006 13:47 GMT13
I once heard that if you heat up an EPROM in an oven to a sufficient
extent then the leakage of the cells increase to the point that the
stored charge is discharge and the EPROM is effectively erased. Would
this really work? The reason I need to know is that I just bought 1000
What regulator IC - very low dropout adjustable output 10-12V at = 3A22 Sep 2006 23:27 GMT1
I am looking for a very low dropout regulator.  The regulated supply needs
to be 10-12V variable at 3A peak and 2A continuous load.  As this is to run
from a 12V battery supply I am pushing my luck!  I may just get away with
<0.5V dropout.  Any suggestions please.

bi-color LEDs with mixed common lead22 Sep 2006 17:42 GMT25
Starting on a new PIC project using bi-color LEDs.  First thought was to use
a hex inverter to change colors between RED and GREEN.  However it
occured to me that if there were a bi-color LED (RED/GREEN) that had a mixed
common lead it would save me 4 74ALS04 hex inverters, the ...
