IC's For Harmonics31 May 2006 21:17 GMT2
Dear Sir,
I had a small query which i thought i would ask you. can you please
tell me if there are IC's which can read and measure AC signal, convert
it to DC,trace the 2nd and the 5th harmonic component in an AC wave of
Electronic newbie question regarding components30 May 2006 20:06 GMT5
Do I understand correctly that even 2 identical components (same brand
and part number)  can perform not quite as well as the other?
In such a case, what's the way to get the 'ideal' component? Just keep
buying them and testing them to see which one gives the desired
Does Crossworks for ARM supports LPC2103 ?30 May 2006 10:15 GMT2
Has anyone successfully programmed an LPC2103 using Rowley Associates
CrossWorks for ARM and the ARM USB CrossConnect? It does explicitly
support LPC2104, but it doesn't say anything about 2103. I know the
LPC2103 is newer, but it also has less memory, and I don't know if
Heat dissipation for small leaded components29 May 2006 23:32 GMT1
OK, I don't know too much about heat dissipation.
For semiconductors that are designed to take heat sinks I can do the
arithmetic of adding thermal resistances from the semiconductor
datasheets + thermal resistance of the thermal pad + thermal resistance
UK supplier for 6pin din29 May 2006 00:30 GMT4
I am looking for a supplier for a 6 pin din male to female converter (not
mini / PS/2) in the UK - ie a gender changer.  This needs to be openable so
I can get in and swap a couple of pins.  I have tried farnell and maplin,
but they seem to only to supply plugs and sockets.  ...
Looking for tilt alarm circuit design?28 May 2006 06:13 GMT9
I am looking for a simple tilt sensor circuit that will sound an alarm and
that will run off a 9V battery? If anyone could point me to some designs or
a predesign circuit I could buy; I would be most greatful.
Thank you for your time.
Please Help me urgently27 May 2006 20:31 GMT1
I can not handle a problem which is about AGC. Please help me about
that. The conditions are;

Looking for DS32KHZN in DIP package27 May 2006 09:40 GMT4
Does anyone know where to get a small quantity, 5-10 pieces, of ds32khzn
chips in a DIP form?

Please, help to identify laser photodiode component27 May 2006 02:28 GMT3
Hi, I've been searching for a while with no luck.
I need to identify a manufacturer of photodiodes (I think they are
photodiodes) that are used in laser targets (the kind of electronic
laser targets that builders use to determine level).
Frequency to Pitch voltage conversion?25 May 2006 22:08 GMT34
I welcome any recommendations for a single IC to do this. It has to be very
easy to use.
I'm getting the frequency extracted from the input signal ok, I just want
to convert a linear DC voltage representing frequency to one linear with
High speed ARM debugger & programmer25 May 2006 19:11 GMT8
Computer Solutions is now supplying the Embest range of ARM Development
tools.  These include UNetICE, a low-cost, high-speed JTAG emulator for ARM
processors, Debugging and Flash programming software to support it and a
wide range of ARM Evaluation Boards.
general guide to identifying ICs?25 May 2006 18:06 GMT2
I'm trying to identify some of the components in an older mp3 player
... doing a bit of hardware hacking.  I'm having real trouble with a
couple ICs.  I'm wondering if there is a general guide to identifying
ICs anywhere.  I apologize if this has been answered before, but
Low power motion sensor24 May 2006 05:29 GMT2
What is the motion sensor that has the lowest power consumption?
Distance is about 10 feet or so.
Any ideas?
Thank you,

Logo Identification22 May 2006 10:21 GMT3
I'm trying to identify a manufacturer of an ic whose logo appears to be a
back to front RJ or RU.  I've seached the net and can find many other
manufacturers but not this one.  Strangely enough I've seen this logo many
times before so it doesn't seem to be that uncommon.
