I'm looking to replace a blown Li 2.8V 0.65AH NVR backup battery in a piece
of kit.
The original battery is marked "Catalyst Research B-600", but I cannot find
new ones anywhere.

op amp specs29 Jan 2006 02:46 GMT7
I want a single supply op amp that will operate near the positive rail.
Supply voltage will be about 15 volts.  Doesn't have to work within
millivolts of the positive rail; two tenths of a volt will do.  I
looked at the LM741 datasheet, but to me it's unclear how close to the
Distance from Current Transformer (CT) to digital readout meter29 Jan 2006 02:04 GMT5
Help,
I would like to install a CT on an electrical service and connect it to
a digital readout display (with a 5 amp input) 70 feet away using #14
gage wires. The CT would have a primary of 100 amps and a secondary of

H-Bridge Controller26 Jan 2006 20:35 GMT3
I am looking for an IC that will control a full h-bridge from fwd to
rev using a voltage pulse from a function generator. The load voltage
is from 5 to 8V, and the current passed through the load is ~16A. I
need to be able to switch the bridge from fwd to rev from 0 to 100Hz. I
LCD panel from scratch?26 Jan 2006 09:51 GMT5
Greetings all,
I am working on a project, and what I'd really like to have is a custom
LCD display. Basically, a strip 2"x12" with maybe 10 large segments of
shapes I define. Has to be individual segments, not a matrix display.
Unusual functions of cheap parts26 Jan 2006 07:12 GMT148
After my first thread going from "standard" cheap parts for up to vhf
frequency to a discussion about the usefulness of Spice simulator...... I
try it another time hopefully get attention of frustrated co-readers:
For example the rechtifier diode 1N4007 can be used as a rf switching ...
Help identifying IC package26 Jan 2006 03:26 GMT4
What package is this IC? http://www.css-networks.com/tsop.jpg Is it a TSOP?
It seems to be 4mm x 2.8mm and I really can't imagine any regular test-clips
being small enough to get in there.
Can anybody advise on the best way of connecting to it in-circuit? Should I
Any cheap small log potmeters <50 ohms?26 Jan 2006 01:08 GMT20
Are there small and cheap potmeters 50 ohms and lower that are log or
audio-taper?
Reason I ask is that I want to make an adjustable current source out of
just two parts, an LM334 and that potmeter. Well, plus maybe a limit

Car alarm sound effect chip?25 Jan 2006 03:51 GMT1
Who makes the chips that generate the ubiquitous car alarm sound
effects?  The ones that cycle through five different annoying effects,
but are ignored by everyone?   eeee-ooooo, eeee-oooo, whoop whoop,
bzzzt bzzzt, etc.
How do you call this?25 Jan 2006 03:01 GMT8
I've some TEK probes coming from the US which have the standard (well, your
standard) mains plug, and it's part of the supply box so I cant' change it.
The best solution would be something like
