WTD: Datasheet /  pinout for OM1058 / TC50230 Nov 2004 23:54 GMT2
I'm on the search for a datasheet for the above IC. It's made by Phillips
and I think it was produced from 1990 onwards and discontinued in 2000 or
thereabouts.
It's an 8 pin DIL (surface mount in this case OM1058T) package and is part

Not Necessarily the "Best Buy"28 Nov 2004 16:02 GMT3
Best Buy opened up a new store last week, so I decided to stop on the
eway home from work and see what they had.  Well, I checked out the
Compact Flash and similar flash memory cards and they've got them, but
there's a price war going on right now with prices dropping like crazy,

CMOS 40164?26 Nov 2004 10:41 GMT5
Was there ever a 40164? I have a circuit diagram showing it as an 8-bit
shift register, but it is quite possible it was a misprint and it should
really be the 74HC164 which of course does exist, was a descendent from the
74164 TTL version, and IS an 8-bit shift register. Though ...

Recycling, Chines style25 Nov 2004 18:57 GMT3
I missed this on TV last night, but a colleague mentioned it; the UK ships
vast amounts of old PCBs to China for reprocessing (I guess it meets the
requirements of ISO14001); the footage included scenes of a guy holding a
PCB over an open fire and using pliers to pull ICs off a ...

Start-Restart safety switch25 Nov 2004 00:54 GMT2
A lot of safety rules require an interlock, such as a switch on a door or
gate, to shut down equipment when the door is opened. The equipment is not
supposed to restart after a shutdown like this, but require the door be
closed, and some other operation (like a pushbutton) ...
Help: how to design air-core transformer?24 Nov 2004 22:54 GMT24
I hope to design an air-core transformer which may operate at 100-500 MHz.
However I found the loss is too high.
Can anybody give me some advices to design air-core transformer?
Thanks a million!
mobo pcchipsM53724 Nov 2004 22:38 GMT1
BIOS chip is a H.T. M 11955.
Is there an equivalent IC type 28F..., 29... ?
The chip is dead (burned) and want to try to replace it with a new
chip.
