| WTD: Datasheet / pinout for OM1058 / TC502 | 30 Nov 2004 23:54 GMT | 2 |
I'm on the search for a datasheet for the above IC. It's made by Phillips and I think it was produced from 1990 onwards and discontinued in 2000 or thereabouts. It's an 8 pin DIL (surface mount in this case OM1058T) package and is part

I missed this on TV last night, but a colleague mentioned it; the UK ships vast amounts of old PCBs to China for reprocessing (I guess it meets the requirements of ISO14001); the footage included scenes of a guy holding a PCB over an open fire and using pliers to pull ICs off a ...

| Start-Restart safety switch | 25 Nov 2004 00:54 GMT | 2 |
A lot of safety rules require an interlock, such as a switch on a door or gate, to shut down equipment when the door is opened. The equipment is not supposed to restart after a shutdown like this, but require the door be closed, and some other operation (like a pushbutton) ...
