cheap microcontroller with CAN?30 Apr 2004 22:49 GMT3
Does anyone know some simple and cheap microcontroller with two
RS232-interfaces and perhaps also a CAN-interface?
Often you can get a cheap mc but have to pay a lot for the development
tools which are of course needed to write software for the
Where to buy resistor assortments?30 Apr 2004 22:42 GMT1
I'm tired of people mooching my resistor supply.  I'd like them to
get their own.  I thought I had a lifetime supply; now I'm gonna have
to die a lot sooner.
In searching for resistor 5% 1/4 watt assortments, I find two kinds.
Research of operational amplifier with auto-clamping of saturation voltage30 Apr 2004 09:44 GMT1
I'm looking for the name of a particolar amplifier, if it exists, that
has a saturation voltage different from voltage supply.
In particular, I'd like to set this saturation voltage externally...
Does anyone know if a components like this really exists?

Q about noise29 Apr 2004 20:33 GMT5
I see ads for wide-bandwidth amps with what seems like very low noise
compared to the amps I'm used to.  For instance, I just got an email flyer
from TI touting the OPA695, a CFB amp with 1.4GHz bandwidth and 1.8
nV/root-Hz.  Contrast that with the OPA134, a low-noise audio opamp at ...
Quantity discount on an old custom chip29 Apr 2004 17:12 GMT4
There is a stockist out there who owns a stock of old custom
chips (ULAs) that were used as a memory controller and CRTC in
an old, relatively obscure, 8-bit microcomputer).
He asks 8 euros apiece.
low voltage drop transistors for power supply29 Apr 2004 03:45 GMT32
My neighbor brought his 25A (12 volts) power supply over for repair
last evening. I found the bridge rectifier shorted and one of the 2
pass transistors shorted. The 20A fuse in series with the output was
not blown, the 4A line fuse was blown.
Audio equalizer/gyrator replacement chip29 Apr 2004 01:18 GMT3
I need to replace a M5229P graphic equalizer chip.  Basically it's
just 8 opamps with internal resistors configured so that 2 pins of
each amp connect to the outside world to make inductance gyrators for
a filter bank.  Here is a diagram:

*** Semiconductor Data Books -- Mostly like new.
Probably can't order anything from these but,
they may be useful to service a 2nd Millennium relic

I'm loking for a supplier of 37.9kHz IR remote control receiver modules that
will run from 3.3V supply (90 degree legs if possible). Suitable ones
include:
