Which component is this....my data monitor shut down, and a electrolytic-capacitor and the transistor? mentioned above blew.....Can anybody tell me what kind of transistor this is, and whether there are an ekvivalent to it?

I am looking to make up some custom Cisco cables. I an planning to put my cisco serial links over Cat5 cabiing. I have the pinouts for what I want. But I cannot seem to find a source of the 60 way connectors. Tried a search in RS, Maplin, CPC (Farnell) with no joy.

I purchased a small quantity of Mitsubishi MH32S64TR3N-8 '256k CACHE PIPELINE BURST' modules and they have 3 ICs on them: A couple M5M5V1132GP and one M5M5278DJ. Does anyone have any info on either the module or the chips on it?
