I've got a tube of 41HU and 41HW ICs. The date codes are 1178 but I can't find them in either my 1976 or 1980 WE data books. I assume they are TTL SSI. Any old Bell shaped heads know what they are exactly?

| Does constantly energizing a relay shorten its life? | 29 Jan 2004 12:18 GMT | 15 |
If so, by how much? Can anyone point me to any info on the subject or pass on any personal experience? We can re-layout a board to use an OMRON G5V-2-H-24VDC relay in a normally de-energized position but I wonder if it's worth the effort.

The first thing (don't remember where it come from or it's age) looks very similat to an regular transistor. The cap is almost an TO-202 but some smaller. The front side is marked: "c106n RCA HH 8419". Another one has a TO-202 case, and is stamped "f2r5g"
