From a HP calculator (HP48 IIRC), there's a IC labeled: [logo that looks like Epson?] JAPAN SED1181F(in big letters) l4 (thats lowercase L then 4, but the 4 looks rather like an A. And that's in small letters.)

What would be the best (cheap and good) way to demultiplex analog signals (mA, V, Ohm) that means switch from 16 analog inputs to 1 analog output? Can it be done without mechanical or reed relays, and still be satisfactory?
