EasyPC Gerber "Dimensions" File Problem27 Mar 2007 09:14 GMT4
I sent a set of Gerber files from EasyPC v8.0.8 to Advanced Circuits
( http://www.4pcb.com ), and was told that the "dimensions" file
contained improper information ("only two small dashes").  This
resulted in my pcb design being put on "CAM Hold", which delayed its

My old DOS mechanical package won't work well anymore. Need a simple
CAD, just for sketches. IMSI's "Instant Engineer" comes to mind but I
could not find any reviews. Does anyone here use it?
Supposedly it is AutoCAD compatible so I guess one could use the

1. I can make gerbers and read it from altium designer but I cannot

I have a PCB program that I purchased from Waldherr in Germany some years
ago and I use it exclusively.
A great program that I'm familiar with but one with absolutely no support at
all....I've emailed the guy a dozen times without a response.

We are working on a telephone circuit layout. We have drawn a carbon
pad for silicone keypads in layout and attached the drawing to a pin
so that the whole drawing became a pin that can be used as a
footprint. But we are not so happy with our carbon pad footprint. Is
