Specctra - Burried via31 Oct 2006 20:50 GMT1
We have been working on a 6 layer + 2 plane layer PCB. PCB contains a
BGA package microprocessor and SMD components and several types of 603
pack passives. I have organized the stackup of PCB layers in orcad
layout. The problem is:
clock multiplexor device30 Oct 2006 20:51 GMT1
I'm currently developing a PCB featuring a Xilinx Virtex-4 device. Unlinke
the Virtex-II series they now offer the possibility to route various clock
signals to several domains on the FPGA and select them locally by specific
clock multiplexer inputs.

Altium PCB to Mentor Graphics25 Oct 2006 14:46 GMT2
Has anyone tried to convert an Altium PCB into Mentor Graphics?
Drilling solder paste stencils23 Oct 2006 21:31 GMT15
These are usually laser cut ($$$) but what's wrong with CNC drilling
your own using the coordinates for the SMD pad centers? Paste doesn't
have to cover every nick and cranny of the pad. It will require a few
tool changes for the various pad sizes but since we're dealing with say
RF inductors in OrCad23 Oct 2006 20:14 GMT25
Does anyone know if there any OrCad libraries
containing flat spiral RF inductors?
If no, then if I create an equivalent RLC circuit
how can I simulate the dependency
Anyone Here from Atlanta?23 Oct 2006 16:48 GMT23

Gerber to G-Code, Help needed.21 Oct 2006 11:49 GMT1
I've written software that converts Eagle PCB output to G-Code so you
can use any 3 axis mill create a quick circuit board. Every thing works
perfectly from eagle but i'll like to be able to import a gerber file,
then convert to G-Code.
Universal "Comment" Character20 Oct 2006 16:09 GMT15
Is there a universal character in ALL variations of "Spice" netlists
that designates that the following text is a comment only?
(Trying to adjust my LVS templates so that ALL layout editors will
recognize comments.)
PCB Design Houses20 Oct 2006 00:09 GMT4
My research group is building a mezzanine card that contains a lot of
critical nets.  We have four 500MHz DSPs and a V2P FPGA all connected
together in a network.  Each DSP also has access to SDRAM.  Can anyone
suggest a PCB design house that would route the board for us, someone ...
Increase the number of significant figures in HSPICE tran results19 Oct 2006 00:55 GMT1
Hi, I'm running a transient simulation in HSPICE and am trying to
export the plot to some other program (MATLAB). However, using the
.print statement, the results that I get is only up to 4 significant
figures. How do I increase it the number of significant figures?
