PADS vs OrCAD31 Aug 2006 06:56 GMT1
Excuse the longwindedness...
I've been using PADS PCB (2004, 2005 v2) for just over a year and can
succesfully complete alot of different types of boards. I still have yet
to accomplish any heavy high speed or large (100 ball or more) BGAs, or
anybody use "diptrace"30 Aug 2006 18:27 GMT2
Does anyone here have any experience with a
program called "diptrace"?  I'd be interested
in any comments regarding the program and about
the company.  I'm especially interested in any

OrCAD newbie question30 Aug 2006 01:09 GMT1
I recently inherited some schematics and version 10.5 of OrCAD
Capture.  I need to change what's showing in the title blocks.  Is
there a way to set the display properties of all 68 title blocks (68
pages) at once?  So far, it seems that I can only do it one-at-a-time,
Undefined part29 Aug 2006 23:51 GMT4
I am doing a simulation on Oracd 10.5 student edition. I have
schematics i obtained from some previous labs and they work fine, even
if I re-use these components in other circuits I made. But when I use
new components I obtaine this message:
Simple CAD pgrm to create simple VRML component models?28 Aug 2006 22:59 GMT5
For Altium Designer, I have been using the QualECAD 3-D viewer
(www.qualecad) plugin to image my pcbs in 3-D, and it's very nice. It
places gray boxes over components that have a height attached to them.
But it can also use VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) models for
PSpice .dat files28 Aug 2006 20:17 GMT2
Please let me know the PSpice probe data file format.
I guess that the .dat file (generated by probe) is by default a binary
(i.e., non-ASCII) but what is the exact data format for it.
Waiting for your inputs.
powerPC simulation28 Aug 2006 07:29 GMT3
am New to PCB board design cycle. Working on circuit having powerPC
interfaced with nand flash,FPGA,DDR and ethernet ASIC. I have to do the
cycle accurate Functional simulation of the above circuit.
How should i go for it?
Adjustable Constant Current Drive25 Aug 2006 20:20 GMT5
I'm trying to design an adjustable constant current drive to supply a
current of 250mA.
I've been trying to use OP amps but have been running into problems as
I need to limit the supply voltage to +/- 5v
Low Price RoHS pcb manfuacturer!!22 Aug 2006 06:55 GMT1
We are manufacture low cost, high quality PCB prototypes in China.
we also supply RoHS Compliance,Leed Freed PCB prototype.
Silk masks are produced for the same price
Send us a PCB file and we will reply promptly with a quote.

LM833 bandwidth problem18 Aug 2006 06:43 GMT3
I'm simulating an LM833 in inverting mode, very simple. just the two
resistors. And according to all datasheets the GBP of this amplifier is
typicaly 15 Mhz. This means that in the circuit of my amplifier, that
has two resistors of 10K, the gain is 1, so the bandwidth of my circuit
PSpice Transformers18 Aug 2006 04:41 GMT1
Can the PSpice transformer be used in both directions? That is, can
the secondary be used as the "primary"? I may have a need to have
signals pass in both directions.
Problem in using Hierarchical Blocks in OrCAD Capture 10.516 Aug 2006 04:53 GMT5
I am using OrCAD 10.5 Schematics Capture tool and my design requires
same circuit to be used twice on the board. So I created a hierarchical
block and pasted two instances of this hierarchical block in order to
have same circuit repeated twice. But I am getting error while
