P4scad3.exe LTSpice error30 Jun 2006 14:54 GMT3
I would like to run P4scad3.exe on a P4 (2001 vintage dell 8100) but
get an "Unknown special function name:  "yyyyyy" (these have accent).
Any ideas on how to correct it?
Thanks in advance, Bill

I'm wondering if anyone has a recommended footprint for a QFN10 3mm
package that has an exposed backside paddle.  Thanks,

How to make user lib from existing design in PADS30 Jun 2006 02:08 GMT1
Protel have the function. You can create the design lib based on the
existing design.
Is there any way to do it in PADS?
Music to Ppice29 Jun 2006 18:19 GMT12
How do I convert a music file into something pspice can use? I figure
out that I can use the VPWL_FILE if I have a .txt with a time an
voltage column, but how do I create that .txt file

Mark, I have questions about the dual-monitor setup you were using for
PSpice at Reson in Santa Barbara.
My E-mails to you seem to be falling into a black hole.  Please send
me your current E-mail address.
Multisim & PSPICE - using MOSFETs28 Jun 2006 22:36 GMT7
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with modelling MOSFETs on
PSPICE and Multisim. As a student, I've been used to using PSPICE 9.1
Schematics to model and simulate circuits. However, I only have the
evaluation version, and need more than 10 transistors in my circuit. I

Saving a PSpice Circuit as a Library Part23 Jun 2006 16:09 GMT3
How can Capture or Model Editor be used to convert a PSpice schematic
into a library part? I'm using Ver. 9.2.
I have a small circuit with input and output ports that I want to put
into a library so that I can easily use it in other designs.
Parts ordering process.23 Jun 2006 00:18 GMT10
Does there exist any distributor/manufactor "interface" such that one can
supply generic specifications on components like
"R=27.4k Tolerance=1% P=0.25W RoHS" and get stock/leadtime + priceing info
returned ..?

What S/W will simulate a transmission line type pulse transformer?20 Jun 2006 12:02 GMT13
I tried simulating a transmission line transformer (one end connected
in parallel, the other end in series) using "CircuitMaker 2000" and
"MultiSim 8", but apparently the models these programs use (even the
lossy line model) are not appropriate for this type of simulation.
Eagle PCB Add - drop button - what does it do20 Jun 2006 09:01 GMT1
Hi Eagle users,
On the ADD dialog there is a "drop" button. What does it do? Where is
it documented?
(I have the free version)
Protel 99SE - a good choice19 Jun 2006 22:07 GMT38
I have been using Protel 3.x for ages (obviously), but under XP it
crashes a lot, for various reasons that are mysterious, despite my best
effort to make XP as compatible as possible. I don't do many boards, and
my needs are simple: schematic capture and board layout, mainly ...
Porting PSpice Files19 Jun 2006 16:35 GMT1
When using Capture, what are the minimum files needed to port a
circuit design from one computer to another when both are using Ver 9?
I use Ver 9.2 at work and Demo Ver 10 at home. Is there a way to port
a Ver 10 design to Ver 9? If so, what is the minimum file set?
Is substrate thickness specified in the Gerber file?17 Jun 2006 23:02 GMT3
I am trying to manufacture several 2-layer boards on FR4 with different
thicknesses.
0.8mm, 0.4mm etc.
My software (Eagle from Cadsoft) lets me specify substrate thickness in
