Basic queries on using LT Spice30 Nov 2004 23:16 GMT9
These are very basic questions, some no doubt in the Duh! category.
FWIW I've read the tutorial, albeit quickly. But a few quick pointers
from the established LT Spice users could save me hours please! Or
maybe there is an existing source for learning practical details which
Circuit Advice Needed30 Nov 2004 17:52 GMT11
Please suggest circuitry and power MOSFETs to do the following:
Control voltage > +100mV, turn on P-channel device to +24V (1 Amp *)
Control voltage < -100mV, turn on N-channel device to -24V (1 Amp *)
-100mV <= Control voltage <= +100mV, both MOSFETS OFF.
SPICE3 Model debugging 29 Nov 2004 22:45 GMT11
I am trying to understand the spice3 programming model
I have added new parameters to existing jfet model
by making changes to over 20 files. I wish
to know if there are debugging functions provided inside
TL081/TL084 Model that accurately models Power Supply Current ??29 Nov 2004 21:43 GMT6
I'm looking for a TL081/TL084 Model that accurately models power
supply current.
The models on TI's site are deadly INACCURATE :-(

OK?

Eagle board layout newbie question24 Nov 2004 20:35 GMT7
Hope someone can give me some pointers:
I'm trying to position components on the board in some kind of orderly
fashion, a pattern rather. The most important are the few LEDs , but for the
rest of them I'd also like it to look  good from an aesthetic point of view.
Protel Autotrax video drivers24 Nov 2004 14:57 GMT2
For a few years now we have made available a video
driver for Protel Autotrax (a DOS PCB layout package).
These video drivers run under VESA bios and allow
Autotrax to be used at higher screen resolutions than
Mentor Expedition: EDIF import23 Nov 2004 18:02 GMT7
I can generate an EDIF netlist of my design. I would like to send this
to a third party which are using Mentor Expedition. Is this possible?

Homemade PCB Plotter23 Nov 2004 01:48 GMT4
I'm interested in building a PCB ink resist plotter.  Photo resist is
expensive, and I have about 50 copper clad boards.  What kind of CNC
plotting software is available for Linux?  Will I be stuck writing my
own primitive software?  Although not exactly dealing with electronics,
Another Spice Trap?23 Nov 2004 00:30 GMT8
Whilst carrying out some tests on oscillators, it transpired that one
cannot readily establish the phase relationships of the various
components by means of simulation. To give a simplified example, if
you hook up a sine source, a capacitor and a resistor in series and
Quad-packs in LTSpice schematics?22 Nov 2004 21:56 GMT9
Is it possible to coax the schematic editor in LTSpice to place multiple
devices that are in the same package?
For example that would be a quad opamp or a logic chip such as the
CD4007. At least the pin numbers would have to vary accordingly.
DDR SDRAM with Xilinx Virtex 2 on self designed PCB22 Nov 2004 19:29 GMT3
last week I started the development and design of a PCB with an FPGA (Xilinx
Virtex 2) and two DDR-SDRAMs in parallel. No big deal, I thought, keeping in
mind the most obvious design rules, i.e. combining the adress lines and
separating the data and strobe (DQS) lines. But now I ...
How to analyze resistor of an RF coil?22 Nov 2004 07:19 GMT3
I have an RF coil. Some material having strong absorption for 100MHz RF is placed
inside the coil. X", size and position of the absortive meterial is known.
How can I simulate the resistor of the RF coil at the specific frequency of 100MHz?
Thank you very much!
