LTspice to show results30 Sep 2004 23:58 GMT1
In the LTspice component attribute editing dialog box there is a section
at the bottom saying:

Eagle: X/Y offset in Excellon files30 Sep 2004 17:51 GMT2
I notice that even when X/Y offset is set to 0/0 in the CAM Processor
there seems to be an arbitrary offset in the file X/Y coordinates when
compared to coordinates in the editor. It also seems to vary from
board to board. For example, a drill placed at 0,0 in the editor
how to control the time step in .Tran analysis in spice3?30 Sep 2004 17:23 GMT4
Hello, everyone,
I am doing some simulation of VCO (4 stage differential) in spice3.
When I do the .tran analysis, the time interval of the output is not
uniformly distributed. It is not the time step I gave in the command:
EAGLE Netlist conversion30 Sep 2004 15:41 GMT6
Does anyone here have  (or know of) a software package to convert
EAGLE 4.1 net lists into other industry standards?  I am particularly
interested in turning out EDIF and PADS 2k lists from my already-existing
EAGLE schematics.

Arrgh - PCB footprint pad dimensions!29 Sep 2004 10:31 GMT6
Why is it that the manufacturers' footprints for SM devices nearly always
give the dimensions between the edges of the pads? I thought it was standard
engineering practice to give the dimensions between centres, which is what
is required by the PCB package I use, so I have to do ...

Bye All..26 Sep 2004 13:23 GMT5

Import EDIF into Composer/Virtuoso25 Sep 2004 17:10 GMT2
Anyone have experience importing EDIF into Composer/Virtuoso?
What I'm trying to accomplish is converting OrCAD Capture schematics
into Composer/Virtuoso schematics.
Thanks!
Commonly used PCB Design Components, your favorites requested22 Sep 2004 11:53 GMT5
As a designer of a PCB / Schematic Design tool I am continually asked
for more libraries. However, except for a few exceptions I am finding
it exceedingly difficult for anyone to give me up there "list" of most
common or useful components.
Gerber Viewers22 Sep 2004 07:29 GMT12
I am looking around for Gerber Viewers. Of course freeware would be best, very
cheapware  might be considered.
I just want to view Gerber files. Don't need to edit or save them or anything
special. I presently use Viewmate, which is pretty nice, but is more of a full
