AutoTRAX28 Aug 2004 04:19 GMT11
Anyone here using AutoTRAX EDA software from www.kov.com?
I bought it last weekend and find it to be extremely quirky. For the
price it could be great ($95 US), but there are a million little
problems that make it very frustrating to use.

What is the comment symbol for Eagle's script (.scr) files. "rem"
and ";" in the first column and C's /* ... */ all had no effect. Surely
there is one...

ic Design26 Aug 2004 07:16 GMT8
I've been trying to look up IC design and can't quite find what i'm looking

Micro-Cap 8 - any opinions?21 Aug 2004 18:18 GMT5
Are there any technical reasons why Micro-Cap 8 shouldn't be bought as a direct
replacement for PSpice? Most of us are keen to ditch the "industry standard",
because, well, we decided today over coffee and buns that we simply don't like
it very much. Don't ask why, it's just us. ...
package parasitic models for Spice19 Aug 2004 18:43 GMT6
For multi-gigahertz analysis, a regular Spice model of the chip/die
properties alone is of little use. You need to incorporate the device
package's parasitic properties, too. But these don't seem to very easy
to come by. Does anyone know of any sites where these additional model
Problem with .step in LTSpice16 Aug 2004 23:39 GMT3
I've come across an odd problem in the simplified circuit I'm posting
to a.b.s.e under the same subject title as this message.
I can't seem to get LT to step through 3 drain resistor values whilst
performing a DC sweep of Vgs. It should amount to just 30 iterations
LTspice under wine16 Aug 2004 16:17 GMT1

Specctra Autoruter unplated through hole14 Aug 2004 12:29 GMT3
I'm using Cadint to design and Specctra 9.0 to auto-route.
My problem: Specctra think all holes are plated, even though they are
set as Unplated in Cadint.
I unfortunatly  can not make plated holes in my PCB's.
