OT? Seeking conical washer for heatsinking07 Mar 2004 16:56 GMT14
I'm trying to find a vendor of #4 conical, sometimes called compression
or "Belleville", washers. My hardware supplier could not find them. I
thought to get clever and contact Key Bellevilles directly but they
don't make anything that small.
Pulsonix problems...07 Mar 2004 14:38 GMT5
I'm trying to get to grips with Pulsonix, with mixed success so far.
The main difficulty I'm having is translating a finished schematic
into a fully-tracked board layout.
Firstly, I go for "translate to PCB" and I get a blank board with the

Just trying to figure out why my newsreader at work lets me respond to a
crossposted thread, while at home it gives fits.

This is INCREDIBLE!!06 Mar 2004 04:36 GMT3
Dear Friends: Greetings: I am a retired attorney. A few years ago a
man came to me with a letter. He asked me to verify the fact that this
was legal to do. I told him I would review it and get back to him.
When I first read the letter my client brought me, I thought it was
GerbTool Panelize Question05 Mar 2004 09:06 GMT2
What's the best way to panelize different designs in GerbTool
without fouling things up? I'd just use gerbmerge, but it chokes on
Layout's gerbers. Bummer, eh?

Orcad Layout Footprints05 Mar 2004 03:50 GMT6
I need OrCad Layout Plus footprints for chip package CSP1616/277 and
SAMTEC Edge Connector 120-pin QTE-060-01-L-D-EM2-GP. May be I have
them in a library but don't know. How can I find them. Also if I have
to make them how to pick the righ padstacks.
"Database" of SPICE models05 Mar 2004 02:05 GMT5
I am making a site about SPICE circuit simulation, and I'd like to know if are
there any site which is a "index" of SPICE models avaliable on the net?
I know about
http://homepages.which.net/~paul.hills/Circuits/Spice/ModelIndex.html , but it
SPICE (LT): determining dissipation by resistors, etc.?04 Mar 2004 16:42 GMT51
Newbie question:
What's the quick and easy way of finding the steady-state power
dissipation of resistors and other components in a circuit with SPICE?
.op gives me node voltage and device currents and, yep, I could do the

Is there a Linux sim. program equal to Micro Cap?03 Mar 2004 21:09 GMT7

lately switched to Linux. No longer use Windooz.
Is there an electronic simulation program
which is almost or equal to Micro Cap form
Drill file txt conversion03 Mar 2004 12:48 GMT2

Understanding SPICE model devices02 Mar 2004 19:09 GMT5
I am trying to create a device model for a small signal diode. The
problem is, I don't know how to translate real world specs into the
numbers that SPICE wants. The most useful piece of information to me
right now, is what Area Factor means, but I can't seem to get a
EAGLE CAD Question02 Mar 2004 17:06 GMT5
I am stuck in two ways:
1)  In my schematic I cannot connect certain components.  Newly added
components will connect, grid??
2)When I try to edit a package or symbol in a library I get a
Circuitmaker02 Mar 2004 03:15 GMT14
Just wondering if there are any other options for producing Protel 99 SE
compatible PCB files from any other program?  (ie a cheaper program).
Protel is great, but it's overkill for our smallish applications and we
definitely can't afford it!  However all the local PCB manufacturers ...
Electronic CAD01 Mar 2004 07:45 GMT4
I know that dedicated Electronic Cad applications already
exists out there and one seems to be popular around here and that is
 "OrCad".
I know that we don't need another Cad program like many would
