I need to use a router in order to save 50 bucks a month for an extra

I am new here and this is my first post. I need some clarifications
regarding how electric test pen basically works. I've done googling on
the web but can't find the informations on how it works. Hence, I come
up with my own theory and I hope to see some feedbacks.

A small open-frame line powered power supply (Cincom CFM05S033) doesn't have
a ground connection.  It will power a tiny device which only has +3.3V/0V DC
connections.  This will be used in a 6x6x4 plastic enclosure so there is no
chassis ground.  An electrician will be wiring it ...

I have a series of120V  latching smoke detectors installed in my home
for which the latching signal appears to be a drop from 120 to 110
volts in the latch line. At least that is the only signal I can detect
when one of the detectors is activated.   I would like to be able to

I'm designing my first battery charging circuit for a device and need
some assistance.  As a preface, I am charging a 3.7V 850mAh Polymer

My son just moved into an older house  near his college. We're told
that the electricity isn't entirely reliable and that he should use a
surge protector.
