| audio amplifier voltage | 27 Aug 2007 22:25 GMT | 5 |
Let's say I've got some 4-ohm speakers that are advertised to take up to 400W. Let's also say I want to build a 200W audio amplifier. Since P=IV, and I=V/R, P=V^2/R, or V=sqrt(PR) (where R=4 ohms).

| Where can I find old analogue cable converters? What happened to United Artist Cable? | 27 Aug 2007 00:41 GMT | 9 |
In April of '89, I rented a cable-converter-box from United Artist. It was obviously an analogue cable-converter as at that time, there were no digital equivalents. It had red LED display for the channels. I gave it back to United Artist Cable in August of '92.

| Capacitor Help | 25 Aug 2007 02:21 GMT | 4 |
I need help selecting a 0.1uF non-polarized capacitor for a project I am working on. The capacitor would be used in an RC filter between an accelerometer and microcontroller to minimize clock noise. I have read that a polystrene cap would be good for such an application.
