Advantages of Parallel Hz02 Jun 2007 20:39 GMT202
Below is an example of "parallel Hz"

If each clock signal is 1 Hz, and you have a billion of them,
staggered such that every 1ns part of the CPU can start, and finish,
Current - vs -  Voltage02 Jun 2007 14:26 GMT7
This has been burning in the back of my mind for quite some time, and I've
not been able to come up with an obvious/simple answer.
What is the difference between something being described as voltage
controlled as opposed to current controlled? I.E. FET's(voltage
variable HF oscillator01 Jun 2007 22:32 GMT3
I need to vary the frequency of operation of a transceiver IC from
7MHz to 9MHz.  The oscillator needs to feed into the crystal
oscillator input and crystal oscillator output pins of the IC (the
current design does not have a variable oscillator and is just using a
Switching AC w/ Logic Level01 Jun 2007 11:00 GMT3
I've found a few threads but nothing with exactly looking for what I'm
looking for.
I need to switch 24VAC (HVAC control) and 120VAC (2A and 10A) with a
PIC. What is the best way to do this? Opto-Isolated TRIAC, SSR?
Calculating Input Noise Voltage01 Jun 2007 04:29 GMT3
I was just checking out various opamp datasheets. I encountered this
opamp:

In the few lines of text, it says that the input noise voltage is 9 nV/
Positioning a FAX and an Answering Machine01 Jun 2007 03:09 GMT7
It appears that a FAX machine wants to be first in line when using the two
devices in Subject. Is there some way of changing that? Our devices are in
two different rooms, and it would be difficult to put the FAX first.
Are CNS electric signals AC or DC?01 Jun 2007 02:48 GMT50
Are the electrical currents generated and used by the nervous system
AC or DC? Some sources say DC [like the book "The Body Electric" by
Robert Becker & Gary Selden]; however, the changes in polarity of
those neuroelectric signals would seem to me like they are AC
