About P-MOSFET24 Sep 2006 11:00 GMT5
I want to ask about making P-MOSFET:
1) the materials i use for making field oxide and the material i use
for making gate oxide, both must be used in the same materials? i mean
that in field oxide, i use silicon dioxide and in gate oxide, i do not
Wire Gauge and Scooter Batteries23 Sep 2006 22:35 GMT2
I have posted on this newsgroup in the past with regard to my scooter,
which is used for all of my mobility outside of the home. Recently,
because it was becoming cumbersome to re-charge one battery at a time
by unlocking a cabinet, I asked a friend to "revamp" it so that all I
[newbie] leds and 743223 Sep 2006 20:32 GMT2
I need to link two green leds to one of the outputs of a 7432, but the
output current is insufficient. What can I do? I thought that a cmos
buffer (4010) put between the 7432 output and the leds can be a good
solution. Could it work?
Speaker Source Selection23 Sep 2006 20:01 GMT2
Good Afternoon,
I have what I believe not to be a unique situation.
I have three amplifiers, and a set of speakers.
I need each amplifier for something different (ones the big home one,

A little help here23 Sep 2006 14:14 GMT1
Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to connect a phone to the
computer to use as a microphone ? Ya know, a regular house phone . I've
connected the phone to one of the lines and am lost as to what to do
next if this feat is even possible.
Blinking led with a PIC23 Sep 2006 04:23 GMT5
I am trying to make a led blink.
I am using picbasic compiler. I get the program to work and the circuit
to work, But it only blinks for a short amount of time, about 20 to 30
seconds. Even if I disconnect the power and replug it do not start
seven segment display23 Sep 2006 01:09 GMT4
I am attempting to find a (multiplexing)seven segment display
driver capable of driving at least 5 7seg drivers. I have found many
but it seems they all have a synchronized serial input like SPI, but
most of them are I2C. I would imagine this is to make designing with a
two rays of different wavelength will generate the same electric current ?22 Sep 2006 20:31 GMT4
I have 2 different light rays which have different wavelengths (for
instance one is red and the other is green).
I'm sending these rays to 2 photodiodes.
Is the electric current generated by those photodiodes the same? Are

how do I interface to use a JFET as a switch?22 Sep 2006 18:28 GMT11
Hey all;
I have a guitar effects pedalboard that switches the effects in and out via
relays. The switching is set up like this:
Momentary Contact footswitch => 74C373 octal latch => ULN 2003 relay driver
How do you make a closed signal loop?22 Sep 2006 16:21 GMT16
Is it possible (in theory) to capture a signal in a closed loop,
keeping the signal stable and periodically travelling around the loop?
I am a mathematician who is quite ignorant about the practical details
and technical terminology of electronic circuits (as must be apparent).
Metal Oxide Resistors (thin film)22 Sep 2006 15:18 GMT14
I need to know the pulse handling capability of 3K9/2W MOR(thin film)
for a voltage pulse having a maximum voltage of 1600V and which decays
exponentially. Also this pulse repeats every 10ms and is superimposed
onto the line voltage of 230VAC/50Hz. I am told that MORs can withstand
Transistor22 Sep 2006 09:32 GMT6
I have a doubt. Could anyone help me with this?
Let us consider a properly biased transistor. Let us assume that I have
connected a load between the collector and the ground.
My question is how does the load effect the transistor ? Does it change
