| My C. Crane Radio's LCD Display is Failing | 30 Sep 2006 15:52 GMT | 8 |
Anyone ever replace the LCD display on such a radio (subject)? I would think it would be easy if one knew the replacement part. C. Crane will do it for $25 if I send it in. I don't really want to be without the radio for long, but maybe it's the easiest way.

| How Do You Sort Your 7400 Series ICs? | 30 Sep 2006 09:01 GMT | 15 |
I just got a 7400-series assortment from Jameco. Looks like there's a lot of neat stuff in here (I'm still going through them all, looking them up and seeing what I've got). It looks like there are some redundancies- i.e. sets of gates in non-shottky, some in shottky, etc.

| Which noise parameters? | 29 Sep 2006 15:17 GMT | 6 |
I'm working on a project in which I need to calculate some noise parameters of a signal in order to give an idea how the system noise changes in the time: in short, the user should measure this parameters every week, in order to see if the noise has changed.

| Simple amplifier: simulation & real world do not agree | 29 Sep 2006 09:13 GMT | 16 |
I wanted to amplify a TTL-level 1MHz square wave a bit so that it can be used as a clock for a CMOS counter running from 9V. According to LT-Spice the circuit below works fine, but the real world does not agree (at all). Actually I measured a cut-off frequency of 165kHz and

| Change from Battery to AC Power | 28 Sep 2006 21:08 GMT | 7 |
I'm trying to setup my baby's rocker, which currently uses 4 "D" batteries. I'd like to have this work an AC power unit. I was thinking about purchasing a 6V power adapter and connecting to the rocker, does this make sense or does anyone have any suggestions?
