IO mos30 Sep 2006 20:46 GMT1
Can you share with me what is the major difference between a logic mos
and I/O mos?
Does IO mos has longer gate length or thicker gate oxide or longer
width...?
My C. Crane Radio's LCD Display is Failing30 Sep 2006 15:52 GMT8
Anyone ever replace the LCD display on such a radio (subject)? I would think
it would be easy if one knew the replacement part. C. Crane will do it for
$25 if I send it in. I don't really want to be without the radio for long,
but maybe it's the easiest way.
How Do You Sort Your 7400 Series ICs?30 Sep 2006 09:01 GMT15
I just got a 7400-series assortment from Jameco.  Looks like there's a
lot of neat stuff in here (I'm still going through them all, looking
them up and seeing what I've got).  It looks like there are some
redundancies- i.e. sets of gates in non-shottky, some in shottky, etc.

can u help me make a triac turn on and off a 12vdc 2amp circuit?
REQ Field Strenth Meter to detect 406 and 121.5 MHz freqency29 Sep 2006 21:25 GMT4
Hi Folks..
I'm looking for a bit of info on a Field Strength meter  for detecting
EPIRB 406MHz and 121.5MHz signals.
My reason for asking is that I am part of our local coastguard unit
555 50% duty cycle29 Sep 2006 16:18 GMT3
I thought I had seen a 555 circuit with a 50% duty cycle and variable
frequency.
It used two diodes in the charge/discharge circuit.
I can't seem to locate the schematic.
Can anyone recommend a good AVR book...29 Sep 2006 16:11 GMT39
... for a beginner?
And what's the difference, anyway, between the AVR and the ATxxxxxxxx
series of chips?

Which noise parameters?29 Sep 2006 15:17 GMT6
I'm working on a project in which I need to calculate some noise
parameters of a signal in order to give an idea how the system noise
changes in the time: in short, the user should measure this parameters
every week, in order to see if the noise has changed.
LED driver type application: want to control Christmas lights29 Sep 2006 12:34 GMT20
How do I? I want to use a personal computer to switch 2.5 V Christmas
bulbs on and off, individually. First, let me state: I have a very
crudimentary knowledge of electronics and an in-depth knowledge of
computer programming (of some kinds).
Simple amplifier: simulation & real world do not agree29 Sep 2006 09:13 GMT16
I wanted to amplify a TTL-level 1MHz square wave a bit so that it can
be used as a clock for a CMOS counter running from 9V. According to
LT-Spice the circuit below works fine, but the real world does not
agree (at all). Actually I measured a cut-off frequency of 165kHz and
Change from Battery to AC Power28 Sep 2006 21:08 GMT7
I'm trying to setup my baby's rocker, which currently uses 4 "D"
batteries.  I'd like to have this work an AC power unit.  I was
thinking about purchasing a 6V power adapter and connecting to the
rocker, does this make sense or does anyone have any suggestions?
Logic equivalent in electronic28 Sep 2006 19:50 GMT17
I am trying to find if there is an equivalent in electronic (most
probably digital) for some common programming language.
What would be the equivalent of 'if - then' , 'else'  etc...
I am builing a digial circuits with inverters , Nand gates etc.. but

Hi to all !
I need some help with calculation.
I have 12 DC car battery and convertor for 220 AC with 150W output.

schematic vs breadboard28 Sep 2006 00:54 GMT36
I am trying to build a simple A/D convertor from a schematic on my
breadboard.
Now, I've built something, but I'm not sure that it's wired
correctly...
Vehicle detector27 Sep 2006 23:29 GMT10
Would a multi turn coil, a metre or two in diameter, buried beneath the
surfce of a driveway, with the ends of the coil connected to the input pins
of a operational amplifier serve as a reliable vehicle detector?
