| 5 and 10 MHz clock inputs | 03 Aug 2006 00:04 GMT | 3 |
If, a device has 5 and 10 MHz clock inputs, will you generally get better performance with the 10 MHz? What is the point of having 2 clock inputs?

| Information on IC PA2003C | 02 Aug 2006 23:29 GMT | 2 |
Hi. I picked up one of those battery/alternater testers at Radio Shack on clearance for a few bucks. This is nothing more than a row of LED's which light depending on battery state and/or alternator output. In other words, the higher the voltage read at the test leads, the more

| Powering Thermostat with 24VDC instead of 24VAC | 02 Aug 2006 22:45 GMT | 2 |
I would like to convert(hack/mod) a digital thermostat into a temperature controller. Most of it is fairly straight forward, extend the thermistor and hook up a relay to the appropriate hvac coded circuits to control the dependent circuit.

| detecting contact closure | 02 Aug 2006 17:05 GMT | 9 |
Greets all. I'm an amateur at this, so please disregard any errors in my techincal description. I have a seemingly simple task to accomplish and am trying to figure out the best (most reliable) way to get it done.

| Recomendations about wire strippers and methods | 01 Aug 2006 14:33 GMT | 6 |
Looking for easy methods to strip the ends of wires for breadboarding or just general use. Typically I have been just using wirecutters and pulling but there has to be a better way. Most likely in the 20-24 gauge range. Are the specific wire strippers worth the money? suggestions ...

| 3 phase inverter design | 01 Aug 2006 10:11 GMT | 6 |
Do we have anyone here that's knowledgeable about inverters? I'm just starting to gather information on 3 phase inverters but this is a new area for me. The idea is to take a single phase input around 420V 50/60Hz and generate a three phase output at the same voltage; possibly

| Theoretical type of electric shock | 01 Aug 2006 06:19 GMT | 72 |
Lets say that the electrical resistance of my adipose tissue was -- for some mysterious reason -- decreased from what it is right now to about 10 ^ -500 ohm. What symptoms would I experience if an AC electric current of 1,000

| 240V AC | 01 Aug 2006 05:27 GMT | 8 |
I bought an electronics device that wants a 240V AC input. Unfortunately, I'm in the U.S., which only has 120V AC outlets. Is there a way I can hook up this device?
