I'm trying out how to make my project work, and it is really simple: An

telephone wiring for Vonage31 May 2006 20:12 GMT13
I just got Vonage (www.vonage.com), a DSL service for voice telephone.
It has a jack from a modem for your telephone, which works just fine.
However, I was wondering if I could plug it into the existing telephone
(POTS) wiring in the house.  I did but it does not work.  Is there any

Anyone know of a good cheap relay for 120VAC needing low coil power31 May 2006 10:25 GMT3
I'm trying to use my little AVR to control up to 12 120VAC loads, up to 5
amps.  Does anyone know of a cheap (< $5 US) relay (SPST-NO) that only
needs 40 mA or less to activate?  My Tyco T77 relays need 90 mA at 5VDC to
pull in the contacts, it turns out, so the processor dies. The ...
How to switch TX, RX,RTS & CTS from an RS232 port to a tranceiver?31 May 2006 09:28 GMT28
My current project involves adding bluetooth to a pda that lacks it.
For this I've settled in a BT module with uart interface that will be
connected throught a transceiver to the pda's current rs232 port.
Instead of anulating the rs232 external port I would like to add an
Testing PC (ATX) PSUs...31 May 2006 05:04 GMT20
Greetings to all,
Recently, I've been asked to conduct some PSU test, nothing professional
but certainly more demanding than putting it in a PC and "test" it with
MBO probes. However, I've run into some problems, as it seems. To

the document I had to work with!) have been fixed. Sorry for any

Freezing  and Fading a led30 May 2006 09:13 GMT21
If I have a LED driven from a electronic VU meter, is there a way to have
the led remain on (for approx 5 sec) when illuminated, then extinguish
slowly (over approx. a 5 sec.period).
So, in other words...when the led is illuminated by a audio level, it stays

Need a remote switch idea29 May 2006 22:50 GMT7
--I've got a loooooooong driveway. I want to put some EL wire on a

run a driver circuit, easy enough, but I'd like to have a way to turn the
driver on and off remotely. Can anyone suggest an off-the-shelf ...
