In a Gerber file if there are no parameter codes RS274D is a block delimiter
required before the first function code? In a Gerber file that contains
parameter codes if function codes appear before the first parameter code eg.
G04, is a block delimiter required before the first one. I also have a
problem with the difinition of the Moire aperture macro, it seems
incomplete. Ref . rs274xrevd_e.pdf.

Does it accurately define macro models as a drawing object? The Gerber
information is not the problem. Actually I would have to see how the
photoplot looks on a machine that uses RS274X.  Actually I am going the
other way from Gerber to DXF I am trying for an accurate 3d solid model of
the pcb.

Now I am at the point where I can parse the parameter codes. I ran a gerber
file generated by p-cad It has a parameter code that is not listed in my
gerber spec. The code is IC is that something specific to a particular photo
plotter or just p-cad?
