new to microproccessors, want to get started

hello, i want to start working with microcontrollers. i'v been
recomanded to use 89s52. i know c programming. i want to know where can
i download an assembely compiler. what information do i nead to program
89s52 and where can i found these information? thank u.

The 89s52 is a reasonable processor for c programming on micros.
You could also consider the ARM range of micros.
