Hi Guys,

I am trying to find out who manufactures a chip, two actually.  One chip
has the logo "MX" on it and the other has "MIRA".  The numbers on
the "MX" chip are "mq44305, 29lv160bbtc-90 which I suspect is a 16Mb
ram chip.  The other one is marked "MIRA" and has P2V64S40DTP and
4309LA110-7 on it.   Google comes up with a weird web page for the
first one that doesn't even correspond to any of the markings and a
load of junk for the second one.

Any clues, anyone ?

Hey Jamie, Thanks.  I didn't know about that one.  Bookmarked for future
reference.  I found "MX" but not the other one.

Thats brilliant, many thanks.  I don't know how you people do it !  I
tried all sorts of combinations in google without any leads at all.

Anyway thankyou once again.  It is what I want and my German is quite
poor. ;-)  So I hope that Google will translate for me.

Jumping in with both feet again. :-(   Wrong "MIRA"  the German company
only does surface mount passives and not RAM chips.

I'm going to have a look at some TSOP ram and see if I can get a little
further.

Did you actually try Google ?

It looks like a 64 Mbit SDRAM chip.

MIRA seems to be a trademark of Deutron Electronics Corp of  Taiwan.

Thanks Graham.   Yes I did but I put "MIRA p2v64s40dtp"  and I see you
didn't.  I just tried it again and it came back with the info you have
just given me.  It never occurred to me to just put in the part no:

Much appreciated.

You're welcome.

I've noticed that tinkering with the 'search term' can give very widely
different results.

Thanks Guys.   I got the data sheet on the "MX" chip it seems that its a
3volt 16Mb flash.  Which means that the other one must be the ram chip!

I wonder do these have a standard pin out ?
