Hi,
Hmm,
Still stuck here. I was able to get hold of a copy of the circuit diagrams
to suit this model, however, all of them showed the IC 805 being there, when
it is not present here. This seems weird that I cannot get a diagram that
matches the board
Where the IC 805 is, there are jumpers in place, tying pins 13/14,3/4,
15/1.This bypasses the missing chip completely.
I changed C114, no change. Then changed the Q110 and again no change.
We connected a video to the unit again, and still no video, but audio is
only being received in one channel.
Can anyone suggest another area to fix this problem.

Hi,
Poor first [post by me...sorry..here is the guts of the problem...
Teac CTM 6601ST
Hi,
I have lost AV on this unit. Normal TV works ok, via an RF cable, but AV only
sends audio and no video. Connections are via a Pentelvision ( scart )
connector on rear. Chaned the scart to anothe known working one, still no
video signal. All I receive are vertical black and white stripes, and audio.
Any idea where to dig to look for a fix on this one, or is it too expensive
to think about?
Thanks anyone for your assistance
The original post pasted under ( where I am up to now)
I hope some one can give me a shove in the right direction....

"All I receive are vertical black and white stripes, and audio."
Is there any chance the black and white stripes are coming from the vcr?
Is the "TEST SIGNAL" switch on the vcr turned on?
Sorry if this sounds like an insult, but it is sometimes easy
to overlook the obvious.
Russell.
